Denim Chore Coat

The chore coat started out on the backs of French rail workers in the late 1800s, a simple jacket built to handle long days and rough work. We kept that spirit and cut ours from a sturdy 12oz denim with big utility pockets up front and a pen pocket on the chest for the small stuff.

Each one is stonewashed so it feels soft and broken in the day you get it, with a wash that looks like it’s already put in some years. Triple-needle flat-felled seams keep it tough enough to wear hard and keep wearing.

Layer it over a tee in the spring or a heavy knit in the fall. It’s the jacket that ends up on your back more days than not.
